Drum-driven spiral system for thermal treatment
The SIDE drum-driven spiral system is designed for the continuous transport of food products inside a climate-controlled chamber, where thermal treatments such as freezing, cooling, pasteurization, or proofing take place.
The belt moves vertically in a spiral configuration, optimizing floor space and ensuring consistent and controlled residence time. What sets this system apart is the drum-driven friction transmission: a central rotating drum engages with the inner edge of the belt to move it forward smoothly and evenly.
The structure is entirely made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the belt is available in food-grade plastic or stainless steel, depending on the application.
