Spiral freezer
The SIDE spiral freezer is designed for the fast and controlled freezing of fresh pasta, using a spiral conveyor system inside a low-temperature insulated chamber.
The product is loaded at the base onto a food-grade plastic belt, which carries it upward (or downward) along the spiral path, allowing a sufficient dwell time to reach the desired freezing temperature quickly and uniformly.
Freezing is achieved through high-capacity refrigeration units, maintaining internal temperatures typically between -30°C and -40°C, depending on the product type and required throughput.
Thanks to its vertical configuration, the spiral freezer allows for space optimization while ensuring high thermal performance and effective freezing, even in high-throughput continuous processes.
